The Simple Lifestyle Of The Minister Of Finance's Wife Purbaya, Was Once A Magazine Model

JAKARTA - Not many know that the wife of the Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadive, Ida Yulidina, is not an arbitrary figure. The woman who has been accompanying Purbaya for decades was once known as a model photo in the 80s to 90s.

From his marriage to Purbaya, Ida was blessed with two sons, Yuda Purboyo Sunu and Yudo Achilles Sadive. Yudo's name is well known to the public as a trader as well as content creator.

Ida's past traces can still be seen, one of which is through uploading the Facebook account of Faca Femina which shows her face on the cover of Femina magazine. Ida once achieved proud achievements as the winner of the 1989 Femina Face event.

Despite having a background as a public figure and now having the status of an official's wife, Ida still chooses to live a simple life. This can be seen from her husband's uploads on social media.

Through the @pyudhisadewa Instagram account, Purbaya shared moments of togetherness with his wife. This couple does not hesitate to use public transportation, such as bajaj in Jakarta. There are also moments of togetherness they enjoy street food, from pecel catfish to chicken noodles with children.

This simplicity was also seen when Purbaya and Ida attended the 2024 Jakarta Grand Week (PRJ). They seemed to be queuing for tickets like ordinary visitors. Ida herself looks simple but still elegant, wearing floral blouses with white broken trousers, and a bag with red arms.

Interestingly, the bag used is Tribeca's Joy Gryson series collection. The bag from the United States is sold for around Rp. 3.7 million. In fact, you can find this bag in the marketplace at a price of Rp. 700 thousand. This choice is in contrast to the wives of other officials who are often seen using luxury brands such as Hermes, Chanel, or Dior.

Behind her elegant and simple figure, Ida apparently also has a humorous side. This was revealed when Purbaya attended a Working Meeting with Commission XI of the DPR RI on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

In the forum, Purbaya conveyed his ambitious target of bringing Indonesia's economic growth to the level of 6 to 7 percent. However, the target actually sparked jokes from those closest to him.

Purbaya said that his wife had responded with a sickle, "You are arrogant," when the Minister of Finance confidently agreed to bring the Indonesian economy to grow towards 6 to 7 percent.
