Akon Sued For Divorce A Few Days Before His Wedding Anniversary

JAKARTA - Rapper Akon was sued for divorce by his wife, Tomeka Thaim within four days before they celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary.

The wife, Tomeka Thaim, filed for divorce on September 11 local time on the grounds that the two had an irreparable difference.

Through their lawsuit, Thaim asked that joint custody be granted to both of them to take care of their 17-year-old child, Journey.

Akon had created controversy when he said that he perpetuated polygamy where he revealed that he had 9 children from different marriages and partners.

He also said he always fills time as a father for his 9 children so that the rest understand each other.

My job is not doing extra things while on vacation. When I make sure my family can eat well, if I have time to show, I will," said Akon.

On the other hand, musician Ammirrer revealed that he has one child from Akon and explained that Askon's wives are scattered in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and so on.

"We all have different households, we all have different lifestyles. We don't need to meet each other," said the Mirror.

'Acon is a male type that is not manipulation but rather yes or no. This is our culture. every woman wants to be the only one and okay," he said.
