Wamendikdasmen Calls PAUD The Main Foundation To Build The Golden Generation Of Children Of The Nation

Deputy Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Wamendikdasmen) Fajar Riza Ul Haq said PAUD was the main foundation for building a golden generation so that his party continued to encourage the application of 7 Habits of Indonesian Great Children (KAIH) at the PAUD level.

He said 7 KAIHs were able to shape the character of children to become more independent, confident, and disciplined.

"Punya kepercayaan itu tidak mudah, saya sangat menghargai kalau anak-anak kita ini tampil ke depan dan berani. Karena salah satu modal generasi kita besok adalah anak yang mandiri dan percaya diri. Maka Bapak/Muni masyarakatkan di PAUD masing-masing untuk membangun kepercayaan anak-anak kita," kata Fajar dilansir ANTARA, Sabtu, 13 September.

According to him, PAUD level itself becomes the foundation that determines the quality of children when they are at elementary, junior high, high school, and college levels.

Children who have entered PAUD, he continued, will adapt more quickly, and grow socially and emotionally.

"There are research results that say that children who have entered PAUD have a greater chance of continuing to high school. They can even enter universities, because of what? From an early age, their mentality has been prepared," he added.

Fajar hopes that PAUD and TK can become the second home for children, a comfortable and encouraging place to study.

This of course also requires support from all parties, especially from parents of students.

So this requires cooperation between PAUD teachers and parents, children must be cared for as well as possible. Make schools a safe, comfortable, and encouraging place for our children. Because of the message from the Minister, Mr. Abdul Mu'ti that school is the second home for our children, like a house, then our children must be comfortable, must be happy," he said.

In closing, he also advised all PAUD teachers to continue to guide Indonesian children to become the next generation of gold for the nation's future.

They (the students) are all of our children who will determine the face of Indonesia in the future, take care of them as best they can, educate them as best they can, don't be distinguished. May all of us, Fathers/Mothers, be given strength by Allah SWT, God Almighty, to continue educating our children, and what is done by Fathers/mothers, teachers, and mothers of PAUD to be smart deeds," he said.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Direktur Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Kemendikdasmen Nia Nurhasanah menjelaskan Kampanye Anak Indonesia Hebat itu merupakan wujud Partisipasi Semesta untuk mengimplementasikan visi Kemendikdasmen, Pendidikan Bermutu untuk Semua.

Nia menyebutkan ada beberapa aktivitas yang melibatkan anak-anak dan orang tua dalam mengimplementasikan 7 KAIH.

“Ini merupakan kegiatan pertama kami yang berkolaborasi dengan mitra, tentunya ini akan menjadi praktik baik, karena setiap bulan, Insyaallah, Direktorat PAUD akan melaksanakan kegiatan yang sama di beberapa kota, harapannya praktik baik yang ada di Pangandaran ini bisa kita terapkan di wilayah-wilayah lain,” kata Nia.

On the same occasion, the Director of Early Childhood Education at the Ministry of Education and Culture Nia Nurhasanah explained that the Great Indonesian Children's Campaign is a form of universal Participation to implement the vision of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Quality Education for All.

Nia said there were several activities involving children and parents in implementing 7 KAIH.

"This is our first activity in collaboration with partners, of course this will be a good practice, because every month, God willing, the PAUD Directorate will carry out the same activities in several cities, hopefully, we can apply good practices in Pangandaran in other areas," said Nia.
