Aceh Police Investigators Investigate Illegal Land Opening Case In Peudada
BANDA ACEH - Investigators of the Special Criminal Investigation Sub-Directorate of the Aceh Police Ditreskrimsus are conducting an in-depth investigation into the alleged forest expansion by illegally clearing land in a production forest area located in Peudada District, Bireuen Regency.
Director of the Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, Kombes Pol Zulhir Destrian in Banda Aceh, Friday night, said that his party had gone to the field to conduct an investigation and asked for information from a number of people regarding the alleged forest increase.
"Investigators from the Tipiter Sub-Directorate have conducted several days of investigations in two villages in Peudada District, Bireuen Regency, related to allegations of destruction or forest addition," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, September 13.
According to the order of the Aceh Police Chief, he said, his party took firm action against anyone who was proven to be involved or made additional forest by clearing land in the production forest area.

The middle officer of the Aceh Police said that his party also coordinated with relevant agencies, both the Aceh Environment and Forestry Service and the Aceh Region II Forest Management Unit (KPH).
"Coordination, to ensure and obtain additional information regarding additional activities and land clearing in forest areas in the area," he said.
Zulhir Destrian appealed to the public to remain calm and not be influenced by invalid information regarding the alleged forest addition, as well as entrust the investigation to the authorities.
"Certainly, we are carrying out strict law enforcement, according to the order of the Kapolda. This law enforcement is also carried out collectively and in coordination with related parties," said Zulhir Destrian.
