The police said that six people from the mass demonstration that took place on Saturday, August 30, were suspects in the case of destroying a number of facilities at the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police Headquarters, Mataram City.
Head of Sub-Directorate I of Criminal Investigation Unit of the NTB Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Hurri Nugroho, explained that two of the six suspects were students.
"So, we have detained four people, two more students, children's age, we have handed over the handling to Sub-Directorate IV (in the fields of teenagers, children, and women)," he said in Mataram, Friday, quoted by Antara.
He emphasized that the legal process against two students was carried out with legal assistance from the Mataram City Child Protection Agency (LPA).

Investigators named these six suspects by stating that their actions were suspected of violating Article 170 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code regarding acts of violence and / or Article 406 of the Criminal Code regarding the destruction of goods.
Hurri explained that the losses from the destruction in the joint demonstration of students, students, and online motorcycle taxi drivers reached hundreds of millions of rupiah.
This can be seen from the damage to the entrance to the lobbying room of the NTB Police Headquarters and a number of facilities near the main gate and the front garden.
For the case of burning the NTB DPRD building, Hurri ensured that the handling was not at the NTB Police, but the Mataram Police.
"That one (fire), the Mataram Police will handle it, here (the NTB Police) only destroy it," he said.
