Arcfox T1 Officially Launches In China, Will Enter Indonesia Next Year

JAKARTA - The BAIC electric vehicle brand, Arcfox, officially launched its newest T1 hatchback, which is priced from 62,800 yuan or around Rp144 million.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Friday, September 12, the Arcfox T1 is available in five variants with two travel distance options ranging from 320 km and 425 km in one full charge.

Customers who choose a 425 km distance model can receive direct delivery, while a 320 km distance variant is scheduled to start shipping in mid-October.

This latest electric hatchback is ready to challenge established players in the pure electric car segment, including popular models such as BYD Dolphin and Geely Xingyuan.

This car features the Arc-Flow design philosophy of Arcfox. From the side, T1 is equipped with 18-inch aluminum multi-spoke rims. This vehicle measures 4337 mm long, 1860 mm wide, and 1572 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2770 mm.

Entering the cabin, the interior integrates an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen. The "Extreme Clean Cabin" system uses a soft anti-fouling layer at the nano level. T1 is also available to put the glass in the front, double compartment for the smartphone, storage space under the central console island, as well as a smart concave design in the trunk.

Behind the hood, the T1 is only powered by a driving force that produces a maximum power of 70 hp, the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by CALB.

Launch in Indonesia

BAIC Indonesia Chief Operating Officer Dhani Yahya had revealed the presence of T1 for the Indonesian market. He said that the car would enter Indonesia in February. Most likely, the IIMS 2026 exhibition will be a event for the launch of pure electric vehicles from BAIC.
