Ranmor Recidivist Arrested While Playing Online Gambling
The police arrested two motorcycle thieves in a house in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, on Monday, September 8, when the perpetrator was playing online gambling (judol).
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Grogol Petamburan Police, AKP Alexander, said the two thieves were arrested by officers without a fight.
"(During the arrest) the perpetrator was playing slot gambling (judol)," Alexander said via text message in Jakarta, Friday.
Based on the results of the examination, he continued, the two perpetrators were recidivists with the same case. Both admitted that they had committed theft twice in the Grogol area, West Jakarta.
"Recidivist perpetrators and perpetrators have committed crimes in the jurisdiction of the Grogol Petamburan Police," said Alexander.
In addition, he said, from the results of the examination, the two perpetrators also admitted to using drugs before stealing the victim's motorbike.

During the arrest, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of a victim's motorbike branded Yamaha Mio
The motorcycle theft case occurred on Tuesday, August 12. The victim is known to be a housewife who at that time reported missing a motorcycle.
The exact location of the theft occurred on Jalan Jelambar Baru Raya RT 09 RW 02, Jelambar Baru Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, in the morning.
