Mysterious Explosion In Pamulang Tangsel, 3 Seriously Injured, 52 Residents Refuge

JAKARTA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported that 52 residents of RT/RW 03/01, Pondom Cabe Ilir Village, Pamulang, South Tangerang City (Tangsel), Banten, fled at a safe radius from the location after the mysterious explosion.

"The results of our temporary data collection are the number of refugees as many as 52 people," said Head of Emergency and Logistics BPBD South Tangerang City Essa Nugraha in Tangerang, Friday, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said dozens of residents affected by the explosion were evacuated at the location of the Baiim Mosque. His party also opened a public kitchen service at the evacuation site at the Naiim Mosque.

"We open public kitchen services 24 hours," he said.

Essa ensured that the local government would meet the needs of eating and drinking for the refugees by coordinating with the South Tangerang Social Service (Dinsos), to ensure that the necessities in the evacuation were sufficient.

"We will complete the 52 refugees who eat and drink three times a day. What we will do today and the next seven days, we are trying to meet the needs of the refugees. There are additional nutritional and basic foods," said Essa.

Previously, it was reported that seven people were victims of a mysterious explosion in the residential area of RT/RW 03/01, Pondok Cabe Ilir Village, Pamulang District in the early hours of Friday has been treated at the nearest hospital (RS).

"Three victims who are currently being treated at the hospital, then four other victims have been treated and are currently being allowed outpatient treatment by the hospital team doctor," said South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Victor Inkiriwang.

Of the seven victims of the mysterious explosion, three of them suffered serious injuries and had been treated intensively by a team of doctors and four others suffered minor injuries.

Then, the impact of the incident also resulted in as many as eight housing units in the area being heavily damaged and lightly damaged.

Victor said that of the eight damaged houses, four were severely damaged and four were lightly damaged.

The incident occurred at 05.15 WIB to 05.30 WIB, where the explosion occurred large enough to reach a radius of about 500 meters.
