Kemenhub Proposes People Entering Jabodetabek To Be Tested For COVID-19
JAKARTA - Director General of Land Transportation Budi Setiyadi proposed that people who will enter jabodetabek area are required to take the COVID-19 test held by the government.
"I propose that to do testing for private vehicles and motorcycles that will enter Jakarta," said Budi Setiyadi quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 13.
Budi said, travelers from Lampung region will be conducted rapid antigen tests around Bakauheni Port. Nevertheless, the Ministry of Transportation is also still considering the application of antigen tests in a number of rest areas before entering the Bakauheni area.
Furthermore, for the community of two-wheeled vehicle users who will enter Jabodetabek from Central Java and West Java will be in rapid tests around Karawang, namely at the Balonggandu Weigh Bridge, then Tegalgubug Susukan Post from palimanan direction towards Jatibarang, and around Indramayu to Jatibarang.
There are also people who use four-wheeled vehicles will be conducted rapid tests along the toll road from East Java to West Java as many as 21 locations, consisting of 13 locations in rest areas and 5 locations at the main toll gate. Then from Merak to Jakarta, 2 rapid test locations are provided.
