Sea Pagar Dari Beton Stand Sepanjang 3 Kilometer Di Perairan Cilincing, Nelayan Mengaku Dirugikan
JAKARTA - A concrete embankment in the middle of the coast of Cilincing waters, North Jakarta, is again standing strong. As a result, local fishermen find it difficult to find fish because it is blocked by the concrete wall.
According to local fishermen's information, the 3 kilometer long concrete embankment is planned to be used for barges and coal shelters belonging to the company in Marunda.
T, one of the fishermen in the Cilincing area, said that as many as 25 thousand heads of families (KK) who depend on their lives are only looking for fish in the Jakarta Bay area.
"As a result, income is reduced. Usually, before there is a concrete, it can reach millions of around Rp. 3 million to Rp. 5 million. After this, at most overnight it will get Rp. 50 thousand," said T when confirmed by reporters, Friday, September 12, 2025.
T explained, before there was concrete for the construction of the pier, fishermen usually got various kinds of fish in Cilincing waters.
"Before this dock, we could get cacong fish, white tempang, anchovies, squid, many kinds of things. Only now that we get the most fried fish," he said.

The concrete fence in the middle of the coast has a length of 3 kilometers. Fishermen also hope for policies from the company.
"But, if you have to go how long, I don't know, but there is a relocation point for the sea. I hope there is a policy from the company because this has a severe impact on fishermen," he said.
In addition to having an impact on fishing that is difficult, fishermen will also be harmed by potential trade damage.
"Especially if the design has been completed, the waves will definitely get bigger and get to the sea. Not only reducing the catch, but destroying the sea. During the west season, we were afraid," he regretted.
It was later discovered that the concrete on the coast of Cilincing, North Jakarta was managed by PT Karya Citra Nusantara (KCN).
