Mayor Of Surabaya Open Virtual House, Invite Citizens To Play Quiz Prizes
SURABAYA - Mayor of Surabaya Eri Cahyadi held an "open house" or griya title virtually Eid in a unique way from his office house.
The atmosphere of the griya title that many residents participated in was more interesting because the Mayor of Eri and his wife, Rini Indriyani, invited the citizens to play a quiz with prizes. For the winners get a package of hempers that have a variety of products owned by Small and Medium Micro Enterprises (MSMEs).
"We'll send the gift later. Let's answer, this question is not difficult," Eri said with a laugh quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 13.
During the title of virtual griya, Eri asked the news of its citizens who were traveling and did not return to Surabaya, nor the residents whose overseas places were in the "City of Heroes" and did not return home.
"I thank you, because 'panjenengan' (you) have been pleased not to return home. God willing, we Surabaya residents will always be a family for all 'panjenengan'," he said accompanied by his wife and two children, Alfanana Puteri and Rahmat Haidar Pasha.
Eri Cahyadi expressed happiness and gratitude because he could still joke with the community. According to him the virtual meeting is quite entertaining and treats the longing to meet hundreds of citizens.
He hopes that virtual friendship will be the last year that people celebrate Eid al-Fitr in the event of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, Eri Cahyadi invited the citizens to pray for Surabaya to be freed from the world pandemic.
"If the community, umara (government) and the scholars of prayer are the same then god willing the pandemic will soon pass. Let's keep praying and keep the health protocol (prokes) strict," he said.
Some residents who joined in the title of griya virtually did little to begin to pour out their hearts by claiming to be still "single" aka unmarried while laughing happily.
As a result, Eri also prayed to all his citizens who had not been paired immediately met with his soul mate and launched his sustenance.
"Hopefully the soul mate is still far closer, which is near hastened. Keep praying don't despair, there's a time," he said.
