Lim Jae Wook, Guitarist Of The Stray Dies

JAKARTA - Sad news came from the Korean band, The Stray. The band announced that Lim Jae Wook, guitarist The Stray, died on September 7.

They explained Lim Jae Wook died after battling his illness for a long time, but they did not reveal specifically.

All five members who started the band together gathered to meet him last time. We hope to remember him in our hearts, "said The Stray through his social media.

Even in the midst of his illness, he never lost his spirits and continued to be a source of strength for us with his music. Please pray for him to rest in peace and be free from illness," the band said.

Therefore, The Stray plans to hold a concert to commemorate Lim Jae Wook with fans.

The Stray is a South Korean band that debuted in 2014 with the song There Will Never Be Another You. They are also actively releasing various singles digitally.

Debuted with five members, in 2016, three of them chose to resign. As a result, the band continued with two people and added new members namely Jeong Hwan, Lee Vi and Lim Jae Wook.

They last released the single Love Bye and filled the soundtrack for the drama Romance in the House which aired in 2024.

The Stray also announced that concerts scheduled for September 14 will run on schedule.
