Tracing The Flow Of Corruption Money From Bank BJB That Dragged Ridwan Kamil, KPK Collaborates With PPATK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to trace the flow of money suspected of corruption in the procurement of advertisements at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR). Cooperation is even carried out with the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).
This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo when he was asked about the testimony of celebrity celebrity Lisa Mariana to receive money from former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil and the purchase of Mercedes Benz 280 SL in the collection of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia B. J. Habibie.
"Of course everything will be explored later and we will see other sources, yes, because in tracing assets, of course, the KPK is also working with PPATK in conducting searches," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, quoted on Friday, September 12.
"Especially related to the flow of money," he continued.
In addition, investigators will also investigate the flow of non-budget funds through other witnesses.
The non-budget funds are known to be money obtained from the difference in paying for the procurement of advertisements by Bank BJB. The agency company allegedly returned the money through the corsec division.
Meanwhile, Acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu revealed that Ridwan Kamil asked for non-budget funds from the procurement of advertisements for the regional bank while serving as governor. The money was then used for his personal needs.
"Then how did RK get the money, at that time he served as Governor of West Java," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday night, September 9.
"Bank Jabar is one of the commissioners and the main director provides money for non-budget activities. One of these activities was requested by the officials in West Java Province," he continued.
Previously reported, Ridwan Kamil's name appeared in allegations of corruption in the procurement of advertisements at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJB) after investigators searched his house. From there, KPK investigators confiscated a number of evidences, including a Royal Enfield motorbike.
Then, investigators also confiscated a blue Mercedes Benz 280 SL at a workshop. The car was later discovered to be still in the name of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia B. J. Habibie.
