Reviewing The Revitalization Of Ahmad Tohari's Library, Minister Of Culture Fadli Zon Calls Reading Books Giving Birth To New Inspirations
BANYUMAS Reading books is a dialogue process. There is an internalization, a discourse with thoughts that gives birth to new, irreplaceable inspiration," said Culture Minister Fadli Zon while reviewing the revitalization of Ahmad Tohari's Library in Tinggarjaya, Jatilawang, Banyumas, Thursday 11 September.
The library at the residence of literary maestro Ahmad Tohari is a symbol of the promotion of literacy and literature. The author of the trilogy of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk is known to bring local spirituality to the national stage. "We will revive the library, thank God it is now being built," said Tohari.
This revitalization is part of the Government Assistance of the Ministry of Culture managed by the Directorate of Facilities and Cultural Infrastructure. The work has been 62 percent and is targeted for completion in November. Menbud Fadli emphasized that Banyumas and its surroundings are expected to give birth to more new writers.
