The Search For Eretan Boat Pullers Continued By The SAR Team Tonight
JAKARTA - Basarnas rescue personnel through the Jakarta SAR Office together with joint SAR elements resumed their search for the missing row boat driver who drowned in the Cakung Drainage River, Cilincing, North Jakarta on Thursday, September 11, evening.
"Search efforts are carried out using rubber boats and aqua eye to detect underwater objects," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in the SAR operation, Desiana Kartika Bahari when confirmed.
The search was also carried out by conducting a search by land.
"The sweeping of land routes along the banks of the Cakung Drain River is up to a radius of 200 meters from the scene," he said.
Dozens of joint SAR personnel were deployed in the search for victims, including the Jakarta SAR Office, Cilincing Police, Cilincing Koramil, DK Jakarta BPBD, North Jakarta Firefighters, DK Jakarta Health Office AGD and others.

As of Thursday night, the victim is still being searched by the joint SAR team.
"We deployed rescue personnel from the Jakarta SAR Office this evening to assist in search of victims. We are maximizing search efforts until tonight," he said.
Previously, it was reported that a young man who pulled a row boat across the river drowned after falling into a river on Jalan Rawa Malang, Kampung Sawah, RT 06/10, Semper Timur Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, Thursday, September 11, 2025.
The victim is known as Slamet Rahardjo (23) a resident of the UKA Complex, Tugu Utara Village, Koja District, North Jakarta.
