Prabowo Focuses On Expanding People's Schools, Targets Miring Children To Middle Class
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the government's commitment to expand access to quality education through the People's School program. This was revealed by Prabowo while reviewing the People's School in Margaguna, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 11. This program not only targets children from poor families, but also the lower middle class. Currently, there are 100 People's Schools operating, and this number will increase to 165 by the end of September. The government targets the construction of 100 additional schools every year, up to 500 schools. This program is expected to be a solution for children who have dropped out of school. Prabowo stressed that the state will continue to intervene to ensure that every child gets the best education.
