Pakistan Holds 'Santation Operation' Act Of Rebels, 19 Militants Killed
JAKARTA - Pakistan's security forces killed 19 militants in three separate operations in the country's northwestern region over the past week.
A total of 19 people killed were members of Pakistan's Tereek-e-Taliban (TTP), or called "Khwarij" by the Pakistani government because the militants declared other Muslimsarty like rebels at the start of Islam.
"On September 9-10, 19 Khwarij members who are members of the Indian Proction, Fitna al Khwarij, were sent to hell in three separate battles in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province," wrote a report by the military media on Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) quoted from AN Pakistan, Thursday 11 September.
Khwarij has intensified attacks in Khyber Province in recent years. Pakistani officials have often accused TTP and separatist groups such as the Bloch Liberation Army of India, which New Delhi has denied.
"Weapons and ammunition were also found from India-sponsored dead victims, Khwarij, who are still actively involved in various terrorist activities in these areas," the report added.
According to the report, Pakistani security forces first launched intelligence-based operations in the Guluno region, Mohmand District, in which 14 militants were killed after intense firefights.
The second operation in Datta Khel, North Waziristan, killed four militants, while another fighting in Bannu District killed one person.
ISPR said "the sanitation operation" continues to eradicate the remaining militants in these areas, reaffirming that security forces are determined to eradicate militant violence from the country.
