Ferry Irwandi's Case Is Still In Process, Yusril Asks The Public To Wait For Development

MAKASSAR - Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections (Menko Kumham Imipas), Yusril Ihza Mahendra, responded to the steps taken by the Commander of the Cyber Unit (Dansatsiber) TNI Brigadier General Juinta Omboh who consulted with Polda Metro Jaya. This was done related to the alleged criminal act of content creator and CEO of Malacca Project, Ferry Irwandi.

Yusril admitted that he did not know in detail the issue between the TNI Dansatsiber and Ferry Irwandi. "I know from the news in the media, the TNI has asked for a look at the Police. We'll see how it develops," he said at the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Wednesday, September 10.

Yusril added that the results of the discussion between the TNI Satsiber and Polda Metro Jaya would later be submitted to his side. The government will provide input when the official report is in.

"In the end, it will be submitted to the Ministry of Law and to the coordinating minister who handles legal issues. Of course we will provide suggestions," he said.

Previously, the TNI Satsiber visited Polda Metro Jaya to consult regarding the results of cyber patrols. Dansatsiber Brigadier General Juinta Omboh was present directly with a number of TNI officials.

During the meeting, the TNI revealed that there were allegations of criminal acts involving Ferry Irwandi. Omboh said the visit was not only as a gathering to discuss the findings of cyber patrols that were being followed up.

"Our party found several facts that led to allegations of criminal acts related to Ferry Irwandi's activities," explained Omboh.
