Peruri Is Not Only A Money Printer, Now Ready To Be A Cyber Security Ecosystem Leader

Through the Digital Resilience Summit 2025, Peruri emphasized its readiness to become a leader in Indonesia's cyber technology and security ecosystem. The event was held from September 10 to 11, 2025 in Jakarta.

The event was held aimed at gathering industry leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss the most important issues related to Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Computing, and Data Privacy.

Peruri President Director Dwina Septiani Wijaya said the Digital Resilience Summit 2025 is a strategic platform to position Peruri as a leader in Indonesia's cyber technology and security ecosystem and as a pioneer in digital transformation that is safer and more efficient.

Dwina said the rapid development of technology, particularly in the field of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and quantum computing, presents challenges as well as great opportunities for various sectors.

"This complex and risk-packed digital disruption era requires a strategic and cross-sectoral collaborative approach to strengthen national digital resilience," Dwina said at the event, Wednesday, September 10.

In an effort to encourage cross-sectoral collaboration in the era of digital transformation, said Dwina, Peruri, which is engaged in high security technology with PT Xynexis International, also presents the national level strategic forum.

"This summit is a symbol of collective commitment in building Indonesia's digital readiness that is inclusive, innovative, and resilient," said Dwina.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo appreciated events that not only talked about technology, but also about the future of excess nations in the digital era.

Tiko, as he is familiarly called, said that digital transformation in Indonesia is growing rapidly, which until 2024 more than 220 million Indonesians have been connected to the internet.

This makes us one of the largest digital communities in the world. The value of Indonesia's digital economy was even introduced to reach 109 billion US dollars by 2025, the largest in Southeast Asia," he said.

Behind this potential, continued Tiko, there are many threats, changes, and risks that arise such as cyber attacks that are increasingly massive targeting all strategic sectors, such as banking, health, energy, and government.

Tiko said the threat could disrupt institutional and corporate sites that have the potential to pose reputational risks and financial risks.

"We agreed to build a digital ecosystem and its infrastructure together. So we have to be more prepared than the attacks that occur in the future," said Tiko.

PT Xynexis International CEO Eva Noor delivered an event entitled "Integrating Cybersecurity, AI, Quantum & Privacy for Enterprise Resilience" which will discuss ways to increase digital resilience in Indonesia through collaboration between the public and private sectors, as well as innovation in advanced technology.

Eva said Xynesis and Peruri view Indonesia's digital resilience as the main focus in increasing Indonesia's digital competitive value in the global arena.

"Cyber security or AI technology has an opportunity, there is a threat too. So we want to know how far Indonesia is ready," said Eva.

Meanwhile, Deputy II of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Major General of the TNI, Bondan Widiawan conveyed information at this event as a form of support for the running of this activity.

Digital transformation is a must, not an option, if we don't follow these developments, we will miss the relevance. Quantum is a future technology that uses different algorithms, which are resistant to cyber attacks, "said Bondan.
