The Third Trial Of Jisrel Elfiano At The 2025 PB Djarum Audition
JAKARTA The young badminton player Jisrel Elfiano Lumoindong continues to depend on his dream as high as possible to get a scholarship from PB Djarum. This motivation made him return to public auditions this year.
Talenta asal Manado, Sulawesi Utara, tersebut termasuk salah satu dari ratusan atlet yang masih bertahan dalam moduli umum PB Djarum tahun ini yang sudah memasuki tahap turnamen pada Rabu, 10 September 2025.
This year is Jisrel's third attempt to be able to join PB Djarum. He first participated in this prestigious audition in 2022 when he was seven years old, then in 2023 and this year.
"In 2024, I deliberately did not participate in PB Djarum's public audition because I wanted to focus on training to improve my skills," said the badminton player who joined the men's U-11 age group.

When he first experienced participating in PB Djarum auditions, Jisrel was able to move up to the tournament stage on the first day. This success made him even more challenged to try again.
In addition, he also has extra motivation to enter PB Djarum after the success of his older brother, Aurellia Florenza Lumoindong, who had already joined PB Djarum in 2023.
"This year I am fighting again in Kudus and optimistic that it will go further than before and achieve super tickets. I want to follow in the footsteps of my brother who has succeeded in becoming a PB Djarum athlete," he said.
Jisrel is not the only old face to return to audition this year. Another name who is also trying his luck to be able to enter PB Djarum is Natthania Alaika Djamal.
The badminton player who was a participant in the 12-year-old group in the women's category last year won a super ticket and advanced to the quarantine stage.
Unfortunately, he failed to join PB Djarum because he was not optimal while undergoing training at the PB Djarum dormitory. Therefore, he is also determined to be a big family of PB Djarum this year.
"This year, I am more confident that I can realize my dream of becoming a PB Djarum athlete because I have made more thorough preparations and maintain health conditions," said the athlete who is familiarly called Attha.
Attha, who is an athlete fostered by PB Anugerah Denpasar, came to Kudus this year with capital from self-wetting, especially from the results she won various tournaments in 2024.
He said that last year's failure made him more active in training for three hours every day, from Monday to Saturday. He is also active in increasing flying hours in various tournaments.
"I always save the prizes that I got during the tournament so that I can return to Kudus this year and realize my dream of becoming a PB Djarum athlete," he said.
This year's audition was also monitored by former mixed doubles Liliyana Natsir/Tontowi Ahmad, who is the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics gold medalist.
Liliyan/Tontowi, who currently serves as Technical Advisor to PB Djarum, considers that every year young badminton players who come from various regions in Indonesia always experience quality improvement.
"This year's general audience I see better quality. However, not only quality that we see, but also mental competition, fighting power, and other sectors we also pay attention to," said Liliyana.
Liliyana also appreciated the tireless struggle of those who joined PB Djarum and tried their luck more than once. He also hopes that this audition can give birth to new and qualified potentials.
"Those who audition more than once, mean they have the fighting power and have a great desire to enter PB Djarum."
"Those who have not succeeded must see the quality benchmark of athletes joining PB Djarum from this audition," he said.
