IPA Pesanggrahan Operates, PAM Jaya Targets Adding 100 Thousand New Customers
JAKARTA - Perumda PAM Jaya officially operates the Pesanggrahan Water Processing Installation (IPA) as an increase in piping drinking water services in Jakarta.
IPA Pesanggrahan, which was just inaugurated by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, has a capacity of 750 liters per second (lps).
To achieve the target of 100 percent coverage of piped drinking water services in Jakarta by 2029, PAM Jaya will also launch digital customer service applications to modern laboratory cars.
This installation will supply the three sub-districts, namely Pesanggrahan, Kebayoran Lama, and Kembangan, and serve 10 urban villages in South Jakarta.
PAM Jaya targets 100 thousand new customers to be served from the Pesanggrahan IPA source.
"This IPA carries the concept of Zero Waste through recycling filter washing water and management of processed mud with educational education technology," said Uama PAM Jaya Director Arief Nasrudin in his statement, Wednesday, September 10.
The source of IPA's raw water comes from the Pesanggrahan River, with the construction period starting from October 2023 until it is completed in September 2025.
The processing technology used includes aeration, coagulation, floculation, sedimentation with a plaque settler, to silica sand filtration. The disinfection process is also equipped with a neutralization system for work security.
"We want to ensure that the people of Jakarta not only get sufficient water, but also with guaranteed quality and easy access to services in the digital era," said Arief.
In line with that, PAM Jaya introduced the LAPOR PAM application, which is an application that integrates various customer services.
Through this application, the public can report disturbances, monitor report status, access bills and payments, and obtain the latest information from PAM Jaya.

"The inauguration of the Pesanggrahan IPA, the launch of the PAM LAPOR application, and the presence of the PAM LAB laboratory mobile is our concrete step in providing a more modern, transparent and close piped drinking water service with the public," added Arief.
