Hacktiv8 Collaborates With Meta And Komdigi In Developing Indonesia's AI Talents

JAKARTA Hacktiv8 announced its latest collaboration with Meta, the platform that houses Instagram, and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) in releasing the Acceleration program with Llama.

This collaboration is carried out to utilize open-source Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for developers in Indonesia. Through this program, more than 100 developers and technology leaders will participate in the program for nine weeks.

"The acceleration with Llama is a historic initiative "providing direct access to developers to world-class technology and the opportunity to solve local problems on the global stage," said Hacktiv8 Co-Founder Riza Fahmi, in a statement received by VOI on Wednesday, September 10.

Riza added that this program is not only designed to introduce cutting-edge AI, but also to foster the spirit of collaboration. Therefore, Hacktiv8 collaborates with many parties to empower local innovators.

Sarim Aziz, Director of Public Policy for Emerging Markets Meta, believes that, "access to open-source AI models like Llama can accelerate problem solving and entrepreneurship." Therefore, Meta welcomes this partnership.

Komdigi also provides similar support. According to the Deputy Minister of Komdigi, Nezar Patria, this collaboration is important to hold to show how the government can cooperate with many parties in empowering digital talent.

According to Nezar, this program ensures that the next generation has the opportunity to take advantage of the power of artificial intelligence. The government is also committed to supporting the development of safe, inclusive, and responsible AI.
