Karawang Police Arrest 3 Marijuana Dealers, Seize 3.5 Kg Of Evidence

The police from the Karawang Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested three marijuana-type drug trafficking perpetrators in the West Karawang District, Karawang Regency, West Java.

"The three perpetrators arrested included Bagas Als Agas, Indra Pratama Als Tama and Rikiansyah Als Riki," said Head of Public Relations of the Karawang Police, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 10.

He conveyed that the three perpetrators were arrested in an ambush operation that took place a few days ago.

The operation of the Karawang Police Narcotics Investigation Unit was carried out after the local police received reports or complaints from the public regarding suspicious activities around Purwadana Village, West Karawang District.

In the ambush operation, the first target was a perpetrator with the initials Bagas alias Agas who was secured at his residence in Jenebin Hamlet, Purwadana Village.

From the hands of the perpetrators, officers confiscated a black bucket containing marijuana, a bag containing three plastic clips containing marijuana, a digital scale, a pack of clear plastic clips, and a cell phone.

From the results of the Bagas examination, it was revealed that he got the marijuana from two of his colleagues in the Cipinang area, East Jakarta. The two people are Indra P alias Tama and Rikiansyah alias Riki.

Based on this information, the team traveled to East Jakarta to make arrests. The two suspects were successfully secured at their respective residences without a fight.

From the arrests of the three perpetrators, the total evidence that was secured reached 3.5 kilograms of marijuana.
