There's Nothing To Be Surprised About: Budi Arie's Response After Being Removed By The President
JAKARTA - Former Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Budi Arie Setiadi opened his voice after he was officially removed from his position in a cabinet reshuffle conducted by President Prabowo Subianto. He admitted that he was not surprised when he received the news.
"Yes, no one needs to be surprised. It's normal," said Budi Arie after the handover ceremony at the Kemenkop Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 9.
Budi Arie said that he had just received information that he would be reshuffled on Monday, September 8 at around 14.30 WIB after attending a working meeting with Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
"At 14.30 WIB, I was told. After the working meeting," he said.
The day after that, Ferry Juliantono was officially inaugurated and replaced Budi Arie as Minister of Cooperatives.
The sertijab process (submitting positions) will take place on Tuesday (9/9/2025) at the Office of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop).
In his farewell speech, Budi Arie expressed his gratitude and gratitude for the opportunity to serve in the cabinet.
"I am grateful and honored to have been entrusted with the leadership of the Ministry of Cooperatives. Thank you to all ranks for their hard work and togetherness," he said.
