Erling Haaland Needs Hijatan After The Incident On The Bus While On Duty For Norway

JAKARTA - Manchester City striker Erling Haaland said he suffered a tear in his face requiring stitches after a strange incident while on international duty for Norway.

The 24-year-old posted a picture on Snapchat showing a tear under the right side of his lips.

"It was just banged on by the bus door, 3 stitches," Haaland wrote.

Norwegian media, VG, reported that he was hit by a trunk door when he got off the bus, but the injury was not serious.

Haaland then joked about an accident on social media, saying the cuts looked good.

Meanwhile, Norway will face Moldova in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the European Zone on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, early morning WIB.

Previously, Haaland scored his only goal from the penalty spot when Norway beat Finland on September 4, 2025 to maintain a record 100 percent win after four games.

Haaland will then prepare a Premier League derby for which Manchester City will host Manchester United on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
