Indra Adhitya Denies The Allegation Of Chikita Meidy Not Giving Blessings

JAKARTA - The former child singer Chikita Meidy expressed her complaint regarding the living of her husband, Indra Adhitya, in the middle of the ongoing divorce trial process. He said that he did not receive tuition or school fees for their children.

"Nafkah juga enggak. Nafkah enggak, uang sekolah enggak, semua sampai aplikasi-aplikasi sudah ke aku semua," kata Chikita Meidy di Pengadilan Agama Tigaraksa, Selasa, 9 September.

Chikita's statement was also responded directly to by Indra Adhitya's attorney, Arifin, who said that it only happened because of a misunderstanding.

"There is a lack of communication, it doesn't mean that Mas Indra is free from responsibility. No, yes. Maybe there is a financial delay rather than the results of his work," said Arifin.

He emphasized that Indra still has a full commitment to his children.

"So that doesn't mean you don't give a living. Because Mas Indra is in principle fully responsible for his children, that's for sure," he continued.

According to Arifin, his client is still providing a living, although he cannot confirm the details of the last time it was done.

"Still (give a living)," said Arifin.

"(Lastly giving a living) I don't know the exact date, but what is certain is that Bang Indra never intends to ignore the future of the child," he concluded.
