WIKA Will Merge With PTPP, What Will Happen To WTON?
JAKARTA - The subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), namely PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WTON) has opened its voice about the fate of the company in the midst of the merger progress of its parent company WIKA with PT PP Tbk (PTPP).
The company's business will focus on building ports, airports, housing and engineering after the merger of its parent company is complete.
The President Director of WTON Kuntjara explained that his party would follow the policies decided by the holding and Danantara regarding the merger of their parent company.
He assessed that the merger between WIKA and PP would have a positive impact on the company.
"Our status as WIKA's son is certainly supportive and collaborative. In our opinion, it's actually a positive thing," Kuntjara said in a Public Expose Live 2025, Tuesday, September 9.
With the merger, Kuntjara assessed that the WTON position would be stronger. The company's finances to coordination will be even better.
For your information, the government through the Ministry of SOEs together with Danantara Indonesia plans to merge the current state-owned enterprises.

Rencananya, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk akan bergabung ke PT Hutama Karya (Persero). Kemudian, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk akan menjadi induk holding untuk Brantas Abipraya dan Nindya Karya. Ketiga, menggabungkan PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) atau PTPP dengan PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk.
