BSSN Ensures Data Security And Audit Of Medical Licensing System At MPPDN
JAKARTA - The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) emphasizes that cybersecurity aspects are the main foundation in the implementation of licensing for medical personnel and health workers in the Regency/City of the National Digital Public Service Mall (MPPDN).
In his remarks, the Head of BSSN, Nugroho Sulistyo, stated that the acceleration of digital transformation carried out by the government must be in line with statutory provisions, security standards, and personal data protection.
"The president has emphasized the directive that the acceleration of digital transformation must be accompanied by strengthening cybersecurity and code aspects, given the current risk of cyber threats is real," he said in the signing of the SKB for the Implementation of Medical and Health Personnel Licensing in Regencies/Cities through MPPDN on Tuesday, September 9.
BSSN underlines that cybersecurity includes six main domains, namely protection, compliance, incident response, security audit, training & simulation, and increased awareness (awareness).
In the implementation of MPPDN, BSSN plays a role in:
Information technology security tests (ITSA), assistance in implementing cybersecurity standards and passwords, system security audits, and also the application of electronic certification services.

"BSSN plays a role in carrying out audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness of security implementation. So, cybersecurity is also not a static aspect, but a dynamic process that must be continuously maintained, evaluated, audited, and managed with careful governance," he said.
Nugroho BSSN emphasized the importance of cross-agency collaboration. 'Security is not a product but a process. Data security is a shared responsibility.'
"Therefore, collaboration between BSSN and all parties in the MPPDN ecosystem is very important to ensure this digital public service is safe and reliable," he concluded.
