Ministry Of Culture Ready To Hold Commemoration Of Pancasila 2025 Certificate Day, Strengthen The Spirit Of National Unity
JAKARTA - The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Fadli Zon, chaired a coordination meeting across ministries/agencies in preparation for the 2025 Pancasila Sanctity Day Commemoration Ceremony. This coordination meeting discussed technical readiness, protocol, and field arrangements for the implementation of the ceremony which will take place on October 1, 2025 at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta.
"This ceremony is not just a ceremony, but must be a meaningful event and bring a strong message about national unity. The sacredness of Pancasila must be reflected in the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, showing the strength of the Indonesian nation which is rooted in the values of Pancasila," said Culture Minister Fadli Zon.
The Minister of Culture emphasized that the Pancasila Sanctity Day Ceremony has been held since 1966 and this year will be the 59th anniversary. The incident that we recalled occurred exactly 60 years ago, in 1965. This gave its own meaning, especially in the midst of the 80th anniversary of Indonesia's independence. The theme, which was raised this year, 'Pancasila Perekat Bangsa Towards Indonesia Raya', is very relevant to the world situation which is being colored by global divisions and dynamics," he continued.
The Minister of Culture also highlighted the importance of ensuring respect for the family of Revolutionary Heroes, as well as emphasizing the need for refreshment in the ceremonial procedure so that it is not monotonous. "The president will also definitely pay special attention to the family of Revolutionary Heroes, so that their position must be placed in an honorable and easily accessible place by the President," said the Minister of Culture.
