Spotify Introduces Smart Filters, Features To Find Songs Quickly

JAKARTA Spotify launched a new feature to make it easier for users to explore the desired song. Named Smart Filter, this feature will help users search for audio quickly.

This feature not only works in song search mode. Users can also take advantage of this feature to search for podcasts or even audiobooks, a novel or story in audio format that is only available in a number of countries.

Like filters in general, this feature offers a new way of sorting content that users have saved on the Spotify platform. Users can choose filters based on Activities, Mood, or Music Genres.

For example, if users are eager to listen to happy pop songs, they can choose the 'Feel Good' filter in the Mood. Users can also search for songs that match their sports activities through the Activity filter.

This feature is very useful for users who have libraries containing thousands of songs. This Smart Filter has started rolling out and will be available to Premium users. This feature can be used on mobile devices or tablets.

Currently, the availability of its features is still limited. Only users in Australian countries, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, and the US can access the feature. In the coming weeks, this feature will reach other countries.

Apart from Smart Filters, Spotify also introduced the Snooze feature. This feature allows users to delay the appearance of a song in the recommendation list for 30 days.
