Bagnaia Refuses To Be Complacent With The Results In The Catalunya MotoGP
JAKARTA Ducati Lenovo Team's racer, Francesco Bagnaia, refused to be complacent with the results he got in the 2025 Catalunya MotoGP race which took place last weekend.
The two-time world champion came to Barcelona in the hope of competing in the front position after the change in the radical set-up from the 2025 Hungarian MotoGP at Balaton Park.
Unfortunately, the set-up did not work in Catalunya, so Bagnaia had to start the race from the 21st position, which is his worst qualification since Portimao 2022.
In addition, he is also one second behind per lap from his teammate, Marc Marquez, in the Sprint Race. However, he was able to get up and finish seventh in the main race.

The result did not make Bagnaia quickly satisfied. The Italian racer refused to consider this step forward as something meaningful until next weekend's Misano race.
"I don't want to give myself false hopes anymore. I'm very sure I'll be here after Balaton and feel like I'm at home."
"However, it turns out that it is one of the most difficult weekends ever. Not only this year, but also throughout my career with the Ducati factory team," said Bagnaia.
Racing in Misano, Italy, could be Bagnaia's opportunity to rise to fight against Marquez. He will benefit from being supported by the public itself to be able to compete ahead.
"I came to Misano with care, trying to reduce pressure because we know how unique this track is. You have to be in top condition. So, I don't want to give myself false hopes," Bagnaia said.
Bagnaia is currently still in third place in the standings with a collection of 237 points. He is 250 points adrift of Marquez who occupies the top position.
Marquez should have been able to lock up the title in MotoGP Misano had he not failed to finish first in Catalunya. However, the chances of winning The Baby Alien are already difficult to stop.
He is predicted to be able to seal the 2025 MotoGP world title in Japan.
