Leony Dicibir Not Selling Because Unmarried, Leony Trio Kwek-kwek: Sorry, I'm Limited Edition
JAKARTA - Leony Vitria Hartanti Leony Trio Kwek-Kwek is now in the spotlight. Leony is thought to have issued a statement that was considered controversial regarding marriage. At the age of 34, Leony admitted that she did not want to get married.
The former child singer admits she often gets a laugh for not being married. Leony Trio Kwek-Kwek reasoned himself expensive and did not want to be likened to goods waiting to sell.
"You're this old, you don't want to get married. It won't sell. Sorry yes, this isn't a sale waiting to sell. I'm a limited edition. So, it is not for sale," said Leony Trio Kwek-Kwek as quoted from Narasi YouTube channel reported by ERA.id, Wednesday, May 12.
"So gini, maybe people do not know much. For example, I decided this is the impression I have trauma, actually not. I grew up in a happy family," she said.
Not born from a broken home family, Leony Trio Kwek-Kwek admitted that his parents' marriage was lasting and durable. Thus, Leony has respect for the institution of marriage.
"My mama papa is still happily married until now. Instead, because I am sacred to a marriage institution, I don't mess with this," she said.
Leony Trio Kwek-Kwek revealed that she doesn't care about the impression of having to be a wife in order to live more meaningfully. It has a principle if it wants to mean it has to be responsible and independent.
"As a woman I don't feel I mean more if someone wants to marry me, not really. I feel more meaningful that I can be independent. I can take responsibility for myself.
Still at home, Leony Trio Kwek-Kwek claimed to be more free to do anything. He disagrees with most people who think single means not selling.
"I can do what I want. I feel like it means more than just not selling according to the mindset of most (people)," he concluded.
