Tears And Songs Accompany Sri Mulyani's Last Step From The Ministry Of Finance

JAKARTA - The atmosphere of emotion is to color Sri Mulyani Indrawati's separation from the ranks of Ministry of Finance employees after handing over the position on Tuesday, September 9.

The former Minister of Finance could not hold back his tears when he said goodbye to employees of the Ministry of Finance.

Sri Mulyani burst into tears when she was escorted out of the Ministry of Finance Building by employees. One by one they greeted her with white roses.

She walked with her husband, Tonny Sumartono. Some employees even took advantage of the moment to ask for a photo together as a memento.

In that touching moment, the Ministry of Finance employees simultaneously sang Titi DJ's song "Language of Kalbu" and "Because of Love" from Joy Tobing.

Sri Mulyani, who was moved, was immediately hugged by her husband when she walked out of the building. As she walked, she still received and collected the white roses given by the employees as a sign of respect and separation.

In her last speech, Sri Mulyani left a message to all employees of the Ministry of Finance to continue to maintain the mandate that has been carried out by the institution.

He also emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and dedication in carrying out their duties.

"Help new leaders and continue to carry out their duties with dedication," he said.

Sri Mulyani also expressed her gratitude to all staff of employees for their cooperation during their term of office and specifically congratulated the new Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadives.

"I would like to congratulate Pak Yudhi's new official, Purbaya has survived carrying out a very important mandate and responsibility, namely managing and maintaining state finances and mitigating the Ministry of Finance," he said.

Ia pun mendoakan agar Purbaya diberikan kemudahan dalam menjalankan tugas mendampingi Presiden Prabowo Subianto.

"Semoga Pak Yudhi diberikan kemudahan dan sukses membantu Presiden Prabowo," tuturnya.

He also prayed that Purbaya would be given convenience in carrying out his duties to accompany President Prabowo Subianto.

"Hopefully Pak Yudhi will be given convenience and success in helping President Prabowo," he said.
