British Teenager Kills Saudi Arabian Youth On Internship At Cambridge Campus

JAKARTA - A teenager was charged with killing a Saudi Arabian student who was an intern for 10 weeks at a campus in England in August. The perpetrator previously pleaded not guilty.

Mohammed Al-Qasim, 20, was stabbed by 21-year-old Chas Co thanks, near Cambridge's main train station, England, on August 1 and died in the early hours of the next day.

Co feasibility denied allegations of murder under the pretext of self-defense when the trial related to the case took place in a Cambridge city court on Monday.

In this case, quoted from AN, Tuesday 9 September, another perpetrator who was tried was Peter Cocary, 50 years old. He claimed to have helped someone commit an alleged crime of Al-Qasim. Both Peter and Al-Qasim have now been detained.

In a tribute after Al-Qasim's death, the family described him as "a dutiful son, a loving brother, and a family leader in mind, not an appearance. Over time, he became a family charisma, leaving an unforgettable legacy in every meeting."

The EF International Language Campus, a Cambridge-based school that teaches English to overseas students where Al-Qasim is undergoing an internship, said they were "deeply saddened" by his death.
