Bogor City Government Encourages Operational Acceleration Of RDF Nambo
BOGOR - Efforts to accelerate the operation of the Waste Processing Facility into a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) in Lulut Nambo were discussed again in a follow-up meeting held at the Office of the Ministry of Environment (KLH), Jalan DI. Panjaitan, South Jakarta, Monday 8 September.
The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor City, Denny Mulyadi, who was present at the meeting said that this meeting was a follow-up to a working visit with the Minister of Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq at the Nambo Waste Management and Processing Site (TPPAS) last month.
"This meeting is a follow-up meeting of a working visit in Nambo, this follow-up is still waiting for the readiness of the province. We are just waiting," Denny said in his statement, Tuesday, September 9.
He conveyed that there are several regencies/cities that require the effectiveness and productivity of Nambo's continuation. For this reason, he hopes that the results of the discussion of this meeting can be followed up more quickly by the provincial government.

Furthermore, Denny Mulyadi explained that for the needs of the City of Bogor itself, currently there is still a Galuga Final Disposal Site (TPA) with an area of 38 hectares, of which only about 8 hectares are used.
"In terms of capacity, the Galuga TPA is still adequate. However, it would be nice if Nambo could be productive and active, of course it would reduce our burden in Bogor City," he added.
