KPK Reminds Newly Inaugurated Ministers And Deputy Ministers To Immediately Report Wealth

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminded the ministers and deputy ministers who had just been inaugurated to immediately submit a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN). This obligation must be carried out no later than two months after being appointed referring to KPK Regulation Number 3 of 2024.

"Every state administrator, in addition to being obliged to periodically report his LHKPN, namely before March 31 the following year, is also obliged to report his LHKPN at the time of his first appointment, ending his position or retiring or re-appointed after the end of his term of office or retiring as a state administrator," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters quoted on Tuesday, September 9.

The ministers who have just served, continued Budi, have up to two months. Likewise with those who have just been removed from their positions.

"Referring to KPK Regulation Number 3 of 2024, the LHKPN must be submitted within a period of no later than two months from the appointment or dismissal of the position," he said.

"As a form of transparency in the ownership of assets or assets of a state administrator," said Budi.
