England Has Not Been Impressive Even Though Unbeaten In Four 2026 World Cup Qualification Matches

JAKARTA - The England National Team (Timnas) continues a positive trend under Thomas Tuchel on his way to winning tickets to the 2026 World Cup.

Throughout the four matches that have been played in Group K, the Three Lions have never lost. In fact, they have not conceded.

England opened the qualification with a 2-0 win over Albania at home, before beating Latvia (3-0), Andora (1-0), and the latest again beat Andora (2-0) on September 6, 2025.

However, England's performance has yet to impress supporters. The public assessed that facing the three teams the UK should have won easily.

One of England's players, Noni Madueke, agrees that the team should be able to play better, especially in attacks and score a lot of goals.

"Obviously, we have experience against them (Andora) in the middle of this year. We know that, worth a thumbs up, they are very persistent opponents."

"I think we should have scored more goals. I think our performance is much better than the previous game."

"I'm overall happy. You have to master the ball and have a mindless mentality."

"There are 11 players within 30 meters. So, the only way to score is to outperform the opponent, or by providing a cross like Reece James did in the second goal."

"So, I think as a team, that's what we're actually trying to do," said Madueke.

Although Madueke admits his team is much better than the previous performance, England has only scored two goals against Andora. One of them came from an opposing own goal before Declan Rice scored in the second half.

That pressure is what now makes the Three Lions need proof of facing Serbia - the strongest competitor - on September 10, 2025 WIB.

England currently dominates Group K of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers with a collection of 12 points, while Serbia is on the second floor with seven points from four matches.
