Police Reveal The Case Of The Death Of A Ministry Of Home Affairs Employee Whose Body Was Found In Pancoran, South Jakarta

The police revealed the cause of death of an employee of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) with the initials OS whose body was found in Ciliwung River, to be precise Jalan Rawajati Timur III, Pancoran, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, July 9 allegedly due to an accident.

"Indications of violence or acts with blunt objects and so on, everything is a natural accident," said Pancoran Police Chief Kompol Mansur to reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, September 8.

Mansur emphasized that there were no injuries from blunt objects or other violence. This is based on the results of DNA tests or autopsy on the victim.

Thus, the case of the discovery of the corpse was declared not as violence but natural. "Until the results of the DNA test come out, there is no element of violence," he said.

The police confirmed that the headless corpse found in Ciliwung River, Jalan Rawajati Timur III, Pancoran, South Jakarta, was an employee of the Ministry of Home Affairs with the initials OS.

This statement is based on the results of DNA testing for more than two weeks and information from the victim's family. The body has been taken by the family and has been buried.

On Wednesday, residents found a body suspected of being male in Ciliwung River on Jalan Rawajati Timur III, Pancoran, South Jakarta.

The body was first found by residents who were fishing on the edge of the Ciliwung River. The victim is suspected of missing while fishing in Megamendung, Bogor, West Java.
