Vivo X300 Ultra Leaked Main Camera Details, Use IMX09E 200MP Sony Sensors

The latest leak reveals interesting details about the Vivo X300 Ultra main camera. According to the famous Digital Chat Station tipser on Weibo, this upcoming flagship phone will carry a 200 MP (main) + 50 MP (ultra-wide) + 200 MP (telephoto telescope) camera configuration. This device is said to be in the engineering prototype stage and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Based on the latest leaks, the Vivo X300 Ultra main camera will use the Sony IMX09E sensor. This sensor is produced with a 22nm process, measuring 1/1.12 inches with a pixel of 0.7 euros. The support of Hybrid Frame-HDR (DCG+VS) technology allows it to capture ultra-high dynamic ranges of more than 100dB, as well as improve performance in low light conditions.

This sensor also supports 2x and 4x lossless zoom through full-pixel fusion, as well as features a 16-channel 2times OCL focus system for precision image sharpness.

For ultra-wide lenses, the X300 Ultra is predicted to use the same Sony LYT-828 sensor which will be the main camera on the Vivo X300 Pro. Meanwhile, the 200 MP telephoto periscope camera is believed to use the Samsung HPB sensor, which will also be present at the X300 Pro.

On the front, the entire Vivo X300 series including the X300 Ultra will use a 50 MP selfie camera with a 92-degree autofocus and field of view (FOV), making it ideal for a wefie or video call with a wide point of view.

Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch in the first half of 2026. With this impressive camera specification, the device is likely to be one of the strongest competitors in the smartphone photography segment next year.
