Menpora Replaced, Golkar: President Has A Special Assessment

JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Musa Rajekshah respects President Prabowo Subianto's decision to remove his party cadre, Dito Ariotedjo as Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora).

According to him, President Prabowo certainly has a special assessment to evaluate cabinet ministers even though they haven't even worked for one year.

"In my opinion, the President must already have his own judgment. But what is certain is the desire of the President is how the atmosphere and development can be in line with the President's ideals," said Musa Rajekshah at the DPR building, Monday, September 8.

The member of the DPR from the Golkar faction said that the change of cabinet ministers had nothing to do with political parties. The man who is familiarly called Ijeck said that a cabinet reshuffle is entirely the right of the president.

"Yes, if I look at it it, it has nothing to do with the political parties themselves. But because we saw that at the Menpora there was Mas Dito as a Golkar cadre and this did not concern what I said earlier from his political party. But the performance seen by the President is that it doesn't have to be a year either, it could be at the beginning," he said.

"But whatever it is, I am sure that the President has a special assessment, both the Ministers who are already working today, both those who will be placed later," added Ijeck.

However, Ijeck admitted that there was no discussion about the cabinet reshuffle within the previous party.

"No, I myself have never heard of it, I only found out today," he said.

It is known that President Prabowo Subianto carried out a cabinet reshuffle for the first time on Monday, September 8, one of the ministers who was dismissed was the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo. Dito served as Minister of Youth and Sports from April 2023 to September 2025.

Meanwhile, another Golkar cadre was appointed as Minister of KP2MI by President Prabowo to replace the minister from PKB, Abdul Kadir Karding. He is Mukhtarudin who is a member of the DPR.
