Prabowo Officially Inaugurates Purbaya Yudhi Sadives As Minister Of Finance To Replace Sri Mulyani

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Purbaya Yudhi Sadivewa as Minister of Finance replacing Sri Mulyani.

Previously, Purbaya Yudhi Sadives was the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation since 2020.

The inauguration was held at the State Palace, Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 8.

The inauguration is in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the dismissal and appointment of the Minister of State of the Cabinet.

Prior to serving as Chair of the LPS Board of Commissioners, Purbaya had various experiences in the government.

He served as Deputy for Coordination of Maritime Sovereignty and Energy, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment in the period May 2018 to September 2020.

Previously, he also served as Special Staff for Economic Affairs for the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs from July 2016 to May 2018.

In addition, Purbaya was also trusted as the Special Staff for Economic Affairs of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs from November 2015 to July 2016.

In addition, he also served as Deputy III for Strategic Issue Management, the Presidential Staff Office of the Republic of Indonesia from April to September 2015.

Previously, he served as Special Staff for Economic Affairs of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs.
