All Transjakarta Bus Stops Return To Normal Operations, 1.3 Million Customers A Day
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Transjakarta Welfizon Yuza revealed that currently all Transjakarta bus stops have been operating normally. Previously, several Transjakarta bus stops were closed due to damage due to the riots at the end of last August.
This was revealed by Welfizon after the inauguration of the Central Senen Bus Stop repair which has now changed its name to the Jakarta Guard Bus Stop.
"With the operation of the Jakarta Guard Bus Stop, 100 percent of all TransJakarta bus stops this morning have been operating normally again," said Welfizon at the Jakarta Guard Stop, Senen, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 8.
Welfizon said that the current level of community activities of Transjakarta users is also starting to return to normal. Where, the number of customers per day can reach 1.3 million people.
"Of course this shows that the condition of the economy and mobility is fully back to normal," said Welfizon.

After the demonstration led to riots at the end of last August, five Transjakarta bus stops were damaged and burned, as well as dozens of bus stops affected by vandalism.
The five heavy bus stops were damaged, namely the Senayan Roundabout Bus Stop, Senayan Bank Jakarta Bus Stop, Polda Metro Jaya Bus Stop, Senen Toyota Rangga Bus Stop, and Sentral Senen Bus Stop (Keep Jakarta).
Over the past week, Transjakarta has made improvements, at least within one week the damaged bus stop can be used and operated functionally, even though its appearance has not returned to normal.
"Within one week from September 1 to today, although the condition is quite severe because it caught fire, but with collaboration, support from the DKI Provincial Government, all SKPDs, all our communities can complete so that it can function today," he said.
"Of course this has not fully returned to its original condition. What we are doing is that functionally it can serve the community again, either to go up, down or also transit," he continued.
