Future Concept Car Avatr Steals Attention At IAA Mobility
JAKARTA - In the midst of the bustle of the IAA Mobility auto show, a new star from the East stole the show. Avatr Technology, an electric vehicle (EV) unit from Changan Automobile, officially introduces its futuristic concept car, Avatr Xpectra, which features a bold and luxurious design.
Although still a concept, Xpectra reflects Avatr's ambition to challenge the dominance of established brands. With a highly impressive dimension of 5,843 mm long, 2,132 mm wide, and 1,405 mm high this car redefined the meaning of a luxury vehicle with a monumental proportion.

CnEVPost reported Monday, September 8, the most striking feature of Xpectra is a "prismatic glass" cabin made of multiple transparent panels, with glass roofs stretched from front to back. This design not only creates a wide impression, but also strengthens Avatr's emphasis on "emotional connection with the real world." To complement its futuristic appearance, the car is also equipped with a scrollwing door, which is commonly used to display unique interior layouts.
With minimalist aesthetics dominated by white and silver gray, Avatr insists that this design is a manifestation of emotional expression.
For information, Avatr Technology was born from a collaboration between Changan and NIO in 2018. The brand later evolved with the collaborative support of tech giants such as Huawei and CATL (leading battery manufacturers), which jointly developed the CHN architecture. In the Chinese domestic market, Avatr already has a number of models marketed, including the Avatr 06 and 12, as well as the Avatr 07 and 11 SUVs, demonstrating their commitment to continuing to expand in competitive EV segments.
