The Ministry Of Public Works Targets The Vice Presidential Palace At IKN To Be Completed By The End Of 2025
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) targets that the construction of the Vice President's Palace to the State Mosque in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, can be completed by the end of 2025.
Direktur Jenderal Cipta Karya Kementerian PU Dewi Chomistriana mengatakan, target tersebut digik sesuai dengan arahan yang disampaikan oleh Menteri PU Dody Hanggodo.
"And we have received directions from the Minister (Directorate General) of Cipta Karya (at IKN) everything will be completed in December 2025," said Dewi when met by reporters at the Jakarta Metro Police JPO, Jakarta, Monday, September 8.
He said that several projects that were accelerated were completed this year, including the construction of State Mosques, installation of Drinking Water Supply Systems (SPAM) to the Vice Presidential Palace.
Even so, said Dewi, several contracts for multi-year contracts (MYC), such as the Wastewater Processing Installation (IPAL) project at IKN, the completion will only be targeted for completion in 2026.
"Almost everything, yes, we handle it. Like the rest of the mosque's work, then drinking water, the Vice President's Palace, we will finish it in 2025," he said.
As for quoting the Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE) page for the construction of the palace area and the vice president's office in IKN, the total project value reached Rp1.7 trillion.
The construction of the project consists of the Vice Presidential Palace, the Vice President's Office, the Secretariat's Office, the Residence of the Vice President, Other Supporting Buildings and Regional Planning so that they can be implemented immediately so that physical buildings can be realized according to the needs and functions of the building.
Previously, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said that the construction of the Vice Presidential Palace in IKN, East Kalimantan, would begin in August 2024.

"Iya (Istana Wapres salah satunya yang akan groundbreaking)," kata Basuki di Jakarta, dikutip Jumat, 9 Agustus.
Plt Kepala Otorita IKN (OIKN) itu juga menjelaskan, pembangunan Istana Wakil Presiden di Nusantara diperkirakan akan rampung dalam waktu satu tahun.
"(Prosesnya) setahun, paling cepat setahun," ujarnya.

The groundbreaking of the project is scheduled for August 12, 2024.
"Yes (One of the Vice President's Palace will be groundbreaking)," said Basuki in Jakarta, quoted Friday, August 9.
The Acting Head of the IKN Authority (OIKN) also explained that the construction of the Vice Presidential Palace in the archipelago is expected to be completed within one year.
"(The process) is a year, the fastest is a year," he said.
