Volkswagen ID. Cross Concept Debuts In IAA Mobility With A Distance Of 420 Km

JAKARTA Volkswagen officially introduced the latest compact SUV through its global debut at the IAA Mobility 2025 event. This concept car called ID. Cross Concept comes as an overview of the future of ID lines, with fresh design, modern technology, to the convenience of a multipurpose SUV.

Appearing in a Urban Jungle color dress, ID. Cross Concept reflects Volkswagen's new design language. Volkswagen's head of design Andreas Mindt, explains that this approach is called Preni's positive, which builds on three pillars: stability, emotional attraction, and unique touch in each model.

In size, this electric SUV has a length of 4,161 mm, a width of 1,839 mm, a height of 1,588 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,601 mm, similar to the current VW T-Cross. The exterior design is combined with 21-inch rims and special tires with 235/40 R21 profiles.

Entering the cabin offers a 450-liter baggage plus an extra compartment under the front hood. The interior with the Vanilla Chai color creates a warm lounge feel, reinforced by a built-in atmospheric mode that can change lighting, sound, and climate as needed.

Modern Technology And Reliable Tempuh Distance

In terms of performance, ID. Cross Concept is armed with a 155 kW (211 PS) electric motor that drives the front wheels. This motorbike is combined with a high voltage battery that is placed flat on the floor of the car, thus maintaining stability as well as the cabin room to remain spacious.

With this configuration, Volkswagen estimates a distance of up to 420 km (WLTP), making it quite practical for daily use and medium-distance travel.
