BYD Boyong Sedan Seal 6 DM-i To Europe, Offers 1,500 Km Tempuh Distance

JAKARTA - A well-known automotive manufacturer from China, namely BYD, has added to its line of cars in the European market, by launching the Seal 6 DM-i sedan as well as a fairly popular wagon version in the country of origin.

Based on a report from CNevpost, quoted on Sunday, September 7, the European market Seal 06 DM-i changed its name to Seal 6 DM-i in Europe, with a horizontal variant called Seal 6 DM-i Touring.

"The success of Seal U DM-i shows that hybrid technology allows users to enjoy the pleasure of driving electricity while eliminating concerns about distance," said BYD Executive Vice President Stella Li.

He further said that Seal 6 DM-i and Seal 6 DM-i Touring will continue to take advantage of their advantages, to meet the various mobility needs of European users.

In specifications, the Seal 6 DM-i offers a maximum battery range of 105 kilometers and a combined range exceeding 1,500 kilometers when the fuel is fully charged and charged.

"This car meets the needs of family travel, long-distance travel, and the need for the use of other multi-scenarios," he added.

Meanwhile, with the rear seat folded Seal 6 DM-i Touring offering a maximum cargo capacity of 1,535 liters, providing a broad experience beyond the line of existing wagon models in Europe.

"The entry of Seal 6 DM-i into the European market is ready to redefine freedom and comfort of business travel and family vacations," he explained.

For information, Seal 06 DM-i was launched in China on May 28, 2024, as one of the first two models to feature fifth-generation DM hybrid technology BYD, alongside the Qin L sedan.

As for expansion in Europe, BYD officially entered the European passenger vehicle market in September 2022, and has since become one of the main energy vehicle (NEV) players in the region.
