Residents Return 32 Marang Owned By Ahmad Sahroni Who Was Arrested

JAKARTA - "A total of 32 items of Ahmad Sahroni's belongings, which had been held by residents at his residence, have now been returned," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar in Jakarta, Saturday.

The Jakarta Metro Police have facilitated the return of the goods to Ahmad Sahroni's family, represented by Achmad Winarso,

"The goods were handed over by residents to the North Jakarta Metro Police voluntarily," he said.

According to him, dozens of Sahroni's belongings were handed over by residents voluntarily, one of which was a bundle of land certificates.

Onkoseno added that through good cooperation and communication, some of the goods could be returned and officially handed over to the family.

"We appreciate the cooperative attitude of the community and are committed to maintaining security, order, and building good synergies between residents and the police and the families of the victims," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Kebon Bawang LMK, Achmad Winarso, who represented Ahmad Sahroni, said that Ahmad Sahroni's family appreciated the good faith of the community who voluntarily returned these items.

"The family will not take legal action for residents who have the awareness to hand over goods through the North Jakarta Metro Police or directly to their families," he said.
