Long Weekend, Rice And Chili Prices In Jakarta Experience A Decrease
JAKARTA - The average price of a number of food commodities in DKI Jakarta on Saturday, September 6 morning has decreased, such as rice and chilies, while cooking oil, sugar, and several vegetables tend to rise.
Based on infopangan.jakarta.go.id data at 06.30 WIB, IR I rice fell from IDR 15,456 per kg to IDR 15,008 per kg, IR II (Ramos) rice decreased from IDR 14,634 per kg to IDR 14,406 per kg, and Muncul I rice decreased from IDR 15,017 per kg to IDR 14,575 per kg.
In contrast, IR 42 (pera) rice rose from IDR 15,566 per kg to IDR 15,928 per kg and Setra I or premium rice rose from IDR 16,095 per kg to IDR 16,183 per kg.
The majority chili price decreased, such as curly red chilies from IDR 47,851 per kg to IDR 46,686 per kg, large red chilies from IDR 50,019 per kg to IDR 49,100 per kg, red cayenne pepper from IDR 45,484 per kg to IDR 43,977 per kg, and green cayenne pepper from IDR 44,344 per kg to IDR 42,043 per kg.
Only large green cayenne pepper rose from IDR 42,500 per kg to IDR 43,333 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots rose from IDR 47,433 per kg to IDR 47,780 per kg, followed by garlic which increased from IDR 40,476 per kg to IDR 40,793 per kg.
The price of bulk cooking oil has increased from IDR 19,767 per kg to IDR 19,914 per kg, premium packaged cooking oil increased from IDR 22,521 per kg to IDR 24,833 per kg and IDR 16,250 per kg to IDR 16,300 per kg.
Sugar also rose from IDR 18,403 per kg to IDR 18,546 per kg, while premium packaging sugar increased slightly from IDR 19,000 per kg to IDR 19,250 per kg.
A number of vegetables and fruit also increased, such as potatoes slightly increased from Rp19,511 per kg to Rp19,721 per kg, tomatoes from Rp17,962 per kg to Rp18,400 per kg, and kupas coconut from Rp14,233 per kg to Rp15,000 per kg. On the other hand, Medan oranges decreased from Rp31,371 per kg to Rp30,300 per kg, while watermelons were stable at a price of Rp13,183 per kg.
For animal protein, beef has decreased significantly from Rp144,833 per kg to Rp140,104 per kg, seamless beef from Rp138,667 per kg to Rp134,333 per kg, but fresh beef actually jumped from Rp134,896 per kg to Rp138,333 per kg.
Not only that, but the price of goat meat also increased quite high from Rp. 145,000 per kg to Rp. 152,500 per kg, broiler chicken weakened from Rp. 40,600 per kg to Rp. 40,200 per kg, and broiler eggs decreased slightly from Rp. 28,297 per kg to Rp. 28,029 per kg.

Meanwhile, the price movement of fishery commodities was observed to vary. The milkfish rose from Rp41,000 per kg to Rp42,324 per kg, the goldfish from Rp37,947 per kg to Rp40,250 per kg, while catfish decreased slightly from Rp29,009 per kg to Rp28,950 per kg and the convex fish weakened from Rp45,250 per kg to Rp43,750 per kg.
Processed products also fluctuate, such as 400 grams of Flag powder milk, down from Rp45,500 per cardboard to Rp45.000 per cardboard, 400 grams of Dancow powder milk weakened from Rp53.333 per cardboard to Rp47,500 per box, and 200 grams of flag-enrichment milk from Rp13.358 per can to Rp13,093 per can.
On the other hand, condensed milk of 200 grams increased from Rp11,040 per can to Rp11,896 per can, margarine Blueband cup fell from Rp31,717 per pack to Rp18,187 per pack, while margarine sachets rose slightly from Rp10,305 per packaging to Rp10,786 per packaging.
Other commodities also move variedly, such as soybeans falling from Rp. 16,500 per kg to Rp. 13,750 per kg, while the price of 3 kilograms of LPG gas was recorded to have decreased from Rp. 20,933 per cylinder to Rp. 20,667 per cylinder.
