Mayor Of Bandung Asks West Java Prosecutor's Office For Assistance In The Bandung Zoo Case
The Mayor of Bandung, Muhamad Farhan, reportedly visited the West Java High Prosecutor's Office to ask for legal assistance or assistance from the prosecutor's office in West Java to face a lawsuit related to Bandung Zoo.
Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi Penkum) of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office, Nur Sricahyawijaya, confirmed that the meeting took place in the first week of September 2025.
"Yes, a meeting related to a request for legal assistance from the Bandung City Government to the State Attorney at the West Java Prosecutor's Office, because there is a lawsuit, the case is about Bandung Zoo," Cahya told ANTARA in a telewicara in Bandung, Friday.
In the meeting itself, said Cahya, there was no Mayor Farhan, but was carried out between representatives of the Bandung City Government and the leadership of the West Java Prosecutor's Office, especially in the field of Civil and State Administration (Datun).
He said this meeting was only an initial stage to exchange views, coordination and consultations between the Bandung City Government and the West Java Prosecutor's Office.
"During the meeting, the mayor was represented by representatives of the Bandung City Government. And this is the term for coordination first in the context of applying for legal assistance in the form of litigation," he said.

Previously, the Mayor of Bandung Muhammad Farhan was sued by the defendant Bandung Zoo corruption, together with the Ministry of Transportation and the Head of BPN Bandung City as defendants.
The lawsuit numbered case 377/Pdt.G/2025/PN Bdg, which was filed by six people, namely Raden Bisma Bratakoesoema, Nina Kurnia Hikmawati, Mohamad Ariodillah, Sri Rejeki, Sri, and Gantira Bratakusuma.
Raden Bisma Bratakoesoema is known to be undergoing trial for the Bandung Zoo corruption case. In the document, it was also stated that there was an plaintiff named Sri whose name was very synonymous with one of the suspects in the Bandung Zoo corruption case, whose full name is Sri Devi.
This case was registered at the Bandung District Court trial on Thursday (21/8), with the classification of cases against civil law.
The inaugural trial of this case has been scheduled for Thursday 11 September 2025, in the Oemar Seno Adji room.
