Provocateurs For The Looting Of Uya Kuya's House Through TikTok Arrested By The East Jakarta Metro Police

JAKARTA - A TikToker suspected of being the provocateur of the looting at the house of the in-laws of a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives inactive Surya Utama or Uya Kuya was arrested by the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim.

"East Jakarta Criminal Investigation Unit has secured one suspected provocateur through social media in the Depok area, West Java," said East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKBP Dicky Fertoffan when confirmed, Friday, September 5, 2025.

From the arrest, the police confiscated two cellphones belonging to the perpetrators which were allegedly used to spread provocations related to looting.

"Two cellphones with tiktok accounts. Currently, the perpetrators are still being investigated at the Resort Police," he said.

Previously, the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim continued to conduct a marathon investigation regarding the case of looting at the house of a non-active member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Uya Kuya in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta.
